London Fog my dears is a very tasty change from the classic latte macchiato. I was in London a short time ago and have discovered many wonderful stores there. There are super many cafes, restaurants and pubs there that offer incredible delicious vegan dishes. One hot drink in particular has stayed in my memory and that is the London Fog. In keeping with the London fog that often lingers very persistently over the city, this drink also looks a bit foggy. Maybe I can convince you to give it a try? I would be very happy in any case.
Vegan London Fog
The preparation is really simple and I will now tell you some tips on how to best prepare this vegan drink. First, we need an Earl Grey tea and here there are basically two different methods of preparing it. I use classic tea bags for this recipe. If you prefer loose tea, you can of course use it and prepare it according to the package instructions. In general, black teas tend to steep for a short time. In terms of taste, the Earl Grey variety is fruity-fresh and tart at the same time, which is due to the bergamot oil with which the popular black tea is flavored.
TIP: It is worth buying a high quality and preferably organic Earl Grey tea, because this way you can be sure that the tea has not been added with artificial flavors.
Prepare vegan London Fog yourself
In addition to the Earl Grey tea, we also need a fine milk foam and here you are welcome to decide for yourself what you prefer. I use a soy vanilla milk that foams up beautifully. Otherwise, you can also use this barista milk recipe and spice up your tea with it. All that’s missing now is a sip of maple syrup and a small pinch of bourbon vanilla. The drink is ready and can be enjoyed.
