Today was the same kind of day: November, cold and rain. I’m not really a huge fan of sweet hot drinks, but it’s exactly on these days that I get a craving for them. No sooner said than done, I set out to find a good recipe that didn’t involve 200g of chocolate and 200ml of milk (yes those exist!). After a few rounds of testing in the afternoon (I admit I was a little sick after all that testing *laughs), I “invented” this for myself. the perfect hot chocolate “invented”.
The good news is that this variant tastes much better and is much healthier than most hot chocolates you can get. why?
- Almond milk instead of cow’s milk reduces acidity in the body
- Raw cocoa powder Instead of cocoa powder that has already been heated or has sugar added to it
- Dark vegan chocolate with a maximum of flavor and high cocoa content
- Coconut blossom sugar instead of white sugar with a plus of vitamins and minerals
Hot chocolate with cashew vanilla cream
But what is the happy ending in this dreamlike story? The dream in white or the cashew vanilla cream. The light dreamy cream not only tastes super good, but transforms your hot chocolate into a creamy wonder. The more cashew cream, the thicker and tastier (I think!) the hot chocolate will be. Than please leave vieeeeeellll space for it.
At the latest now I should have convinced you? Ok, I’ll give you another argument, it only takes you 5 minutes to get this hot, healthy drink on the table. If you like, then treat yourself to your personal flavor (which by the way is much cheaper than the coffee chain S…b…s.).
- 3-4 drops of peppermint oil for a hearty like “After Eight” taste.
- ½ tsp gingerbread spice for your “Lebkuchen-Schoki”.
- 1 shot of high proof(but really only one shot for the tough among you)
I hope you love this simple hot chocolate as much as I do:
- Warming
- chocolatey
- creamy
- Vanilla
- Hot
- Very tasty
Raise your cups to the coming winter season, which we will make together as delicious and healthy as possible. If you love the recipe, I appreciate a review at the very bottom of this page. If you post a picture, then like to use the hashtag #veganevibes.
